Biography:  is an American businessman, investor, self-help author, educator, motivational speaker, activist, financial commentator, best known for the book he wrote with Sharon Lechter in 1997, Rich Dad Poor Dad. The book  advocates the importance of financial independence and building wealth through investing, real estate investing, starting and owning businesses, as well as increasing one´s financial intelligence to improve one´s business and financial aptitude. Rich Dad Poor Dad is written in the style of a set of parables, ostensibly based on Kiyosaki´s life. In September 2016 Robert´s Kiyosaki´s bussiness declared bankruptcy, which created a lot of controversion. In December 2016, even his personal Wikipedia page has been removed, and redirected to the one of his famous book.
